IB English B Course Materials: Student Activities Book

Description A weekly program of vocabulary and grammar study complements content units that use authentic texts for text-handling, genre analysis, written response, written production and oral production. Planning, drafting, peer feedback and editing are components of written production throughout the course. The content units are designed to engage students in issues related to English language cultures as well as to the core IB concepts of international mindedness and TOK’s ways of knowing. Activities develop the skills needed for both internal and external assessment so that students are well prepared for their second-year exams.
