It consists of a Copper vessel housed in a rectangular wooden box fitted with a thermometer holder Vessel of Copper in outer wooden case With thermometer holder and stirrer, well insulated in card box. Used to measure specific heats of substances Its simple construction makes it easy to use while delivering accurate results. The space between the Copper vessel and the housing is packed with felt for thermal insulation. Supplied with a Copper stirrer, but without thermometer.
